Review
Phonostar player is a specially designed internet radio player. It is not a simple media player. It can not be used for playing your audio or video files like MP3, MP4, WMV, WMA etc. But it can play any online internet radio stream whether it is windows media stream or real audio stream or it is MP3 stream based radio station. But it is not an independent internet radio stream player it works over the Windows media player and Real player. So it means that you have to install Window Media Player and Real Player both on your computer to listen Window media stream based and real audio stream based online internet radio stations respectively. But MP3 stream based radio station can be played by either player. If Phonostar player requires Window Media Player and Real player both then what Phonostar will do? Phonostar is actually an interface for the online directory of online radio stations with over 4950 internet radio stations from all over the world. And new stations are regularly added to their directory. You can search this directory from Phonostar player by country, by language, by genre, by stream format, by station type or by quality. Not only this, you can also record any radio stream to a file to listen to it later. It is ad supported software so it will show you ads but you can remove ads by purchasing Phonostar player plus version. |
